Gmail Labels Integration

Modify the Gmail integration to pull only emails with specific labels. To increase trust and security, you’ll have to label emails you want to give Formata access to.

When a customer is being met with, we will query each team member’s mailbox (who have connected Formata to Gmail) for conversations with that customer only. Of those conversations, Formata will only be granted access to the ones with labels that you’ve configured in-app.

Although this makes getting started with Formata slightly more involved, it is a priority of ours to respect the confidentiality of specific conversations, and using the Gmail labeling features will enable us to give our users more fine-grained control over their data and how the Formata platform utilizes it.

We will include docs when this change is made, outlining the specifics of the Formata Gmail integration.
