Gmail Labels Integration
Modify the Gmail integration to pull only emails with specific labels. To increase trust and security, you’ll have to label emails you want to give Formata access to. When a customer is being met with, we will query each team member’s mailbox (who have connected Formata to Gmail) for conversations with that customer only. Of those conversations, Formata will only be granted access to the ones with labels that you’ve configured in-app. Although this makes getting started with Formata slightly more involved, it is a priority of ours to respect the confidentiality of specific conversations, and using the Gmail labeling features will enable us to give our users more fine-grained control over their data and how the Formata platform utilizes it. We will include docs when this change is made, outlining the specifics of the Formata Gmail integration.

Prep Now Button on Meetings
Currently, meeting prep is automatically generated 30 minutes before a customer meeting. We’re adding a “prep now” button on scheduled meetings so that meeting prep is available when you need it. Then, 30 minutes before the meeting, we’ll send the prep out again and check for any updates.

We’re making Formata team-based, so that with each customer interaction, Formata takes the entire team’s knowledge & integrations into account. For example, when meeting with a customer, Formata would use not only my email history with that customer, but also my colleagues’ email history to create meeting prep & improve that customer’s contact details.
